About This Project
Perhaps the most globally significant project I have had the fortune to be a part of. As a member of Not Drowning Waving I boarded a plane for Rabaul, Papua New Guinea, to spend the next month recording at Pacific Gold Studios , in a cross cultural project, before the genre ‘world music’ had been coined. It began an ongoing relationship with the friends (wantoks) the culture and music of Melanesia.
